YMCA Day Camp Survey of Residents in
Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, and Welland
The YMCA of Niagara is in the process of examining the delivery of summer day camp services to children and youth 5-12 years of age. As part of this process, a telephone survey will be undertaken in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland over the next few weeks to obtain the opinions of residents concerning summer day camp services for their children.
The survey is being undertaken by LeisurePlan International Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in planning and market research within the recreation, fitness and culture fields in Ontario.
Adult residents will be interviewed over the telephone regarding their children’s present and future participation in summer day camps and potential future use of YMCA summer day camps. The survey will be of a randomly selected (each resident is equally likely to be contacted), statistically valid and representative sample of adults with children and youth 5-12 years of age in their household in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland.
Each interview will take approximately ten minutes to complete. If you are one of the randomly selected residents contacted to participate in the survey, please take the time to respond. Your responses and those of the others contacted as part of the survey will assist in the planning and provision of services by the YMCA of Niagara. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential.

We Build Strong Kids
At the YMCA we build strong kids - strong in confidence and the character - building values that help them grow into responsible and caring youth and adults.
The YMCA of Niagara offers safe and fun activities supervised by qualified, responsible and enthusiastic staff. We recognize the tremendous effect a good camping experience has on the development of a young child, and carefully select each staff member for their interest and experience with children.
At YMCA Day Camps we strive to offer the highest quality children and youth program possible. We appreciate your feedback on our annual satisfaction survey and your daily comments throughout the summer season.
